Seems like it's a forum staple to post lists that we find to be redonkulous, so I thought we'd keep them all in one place.

This one IMO is actually pretty decent. I don't necessarily agree with the order, and I think it should probably include Cannon, but not too bad.

Post your lists, good and bad, here.

The East should include Quebec and the West should include British Columbia and Alberta. I assume that they don't include them due to advertising dollars?

I don't think Sunday River belongs on that list. Except for Rumor and some off-map glades, Gore doesn't belong either, unless skating is a challenge. Magic should probably be there.

how about gore making the top ten. I don't buy this quote from the article.
"Gore Mountain is an awesome place to ski or board. The trails are challenging! If you're looking for real-deal skiing or boarding without a fashion show this the place to go!"

the author must of missed me rocking my 1980's CB powder blue pants.

I think Wildcat needs cred before Jay and Gore...and I am a Gore Homey

I don’t get including Gore on a list of best lifts. Excluding sunway and beginner lifts, there are 8 poorly connected mostly fixed grips, and large parts of the mountain are unskiable when some of them frequently break down. Also the old High Peaks was still in place when that survey was done. Maybe they were counting friendliest lifties or something.

OTOH all those horizontal connectors make it easy to avoid crowds so maybe they are on to something.

Killington reintroducing the south ridge chair really helped getting around without having to go warp speed to make it from lower gondola to K1, also having 3 covered lifts I would think puts them at the top of the list

No way does Gore belong on that list. Their claim to fame are Rumor and Lies, and those are hardly challenging.

Magic should be on that list, and in the top 5. The writer obviously doesn't ski the east.
