The New Lift

Organizational logistics aside, how many would prefer being pulled by rope vs sittings on a chairlift?
A chairlift if it's for lift-served terrain.

In comparison to hiking more than 10 min, I'd hang onto a tow handle. But I don't mind a surface lift in certain situations either. Like at the top of Waterville Valley where they replaced a chairlift with a T-bar. Apparently the advantage is that the T-bar won't go on wind hold as often as the chair used to.

Holiday Valley is installing their new detachable hi-speed quad.

Since I read so much sci fi..I imagine small jet packs and skis that can grow in length and width at will. They will look back at us and wonder..how the hell did they manage...
