I'll be touching down there, for the first time, on Saturday. I've never been in that part of CO, so if anyone has any tips for the skiing, the drinking, and eating, I'm all ears!

I'm staying on the mountain, sans car (the free bus works). I'm already set for a soak at Strawberry Park as well, and catching a concert at Strings Music Pavilion.

It doesn't look like snow next week, but I'll take some warm bluebird days with what they already have.

My careful analysis of these data (Reddit) indicates that the Boat will be receiving a pow refresh on Friday just before your arrival. It will all be skied off by the time you get there. Expect low tide. Rock skis recommended.

Good advice, with only 156 inches so far this season, it's going to be a rough week there. On the plus side, I won't be freezing my keester off, which is nice.

The barley tap is good in town. the hot springs are "weird" at night so depending on what time you go you may see some interesting stuff going on. if you are into cannabis the Bilo is easy to get to.
