Skiing and Surfing in the Same Day

close. i watched people surf at beach in Santa Cruz then skied squaw valley the next day. it was a little cheaper

I'm not clicking. It looks like a trick! ?

You can do it in a lot of places for nothing. It wasn’t the same day but one year I skied Tuckermans on July 3rd, water skied on Lake Winnipesaughkee on July 4th and surfed the Wall on Hampton Beach July 5th. NH for the win!

Zoinks! $18k? For NJ??? The heli ride would be cool at least!

In April I accomplished my surf & ski goal. While I didn’t get surf & Big Bear skiing in the same daylight period, I did get a surf session in Santa Monica followed by skiing at Squ….err, Palisades at Tahoe….in the same 24 hour period. Better surf & ski than Jersey, just a little, and a fraction of the $18k! I’m with Harvey, that offer is sketch.

If I were desperate to have it in the same daylight 10 I’d go for a morning surf session on Cape Cod followed afternoon skiing at Wachusett.

New goal to accomplish. Surf, fish (trout) and ski in the same trip, maybe even same 24 hour period. Lots of trout fishing around Squaw Valley….

$18,000 for 2 nights and tickets to Mountain Creek. Any takers?
Nope.
The package also includes a welcome bottle of Veuve Clicquot and a Mediterranean mezze platter, and a $100 dining credit for a customized to-go lunch in an insulated picnic basket filled with mulled wine and hot toddies.

Ya can easily:
Go water skiing New Year’s eve day in or near the gulf coast.
Body surfing in the French Quarter before and after the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s day.
You’ll get all the Hotty Toddy’s ya want & watch live The Rebels vs. Bears in the Superdome.

You'll have cash for treats & trinkets if ya pace yourself.
YOLO NOLA.

Resort at Squaw Creek has the Matt Heron fly fishing school on site. While I read a lot of derogatory things about the golf course and stocked “ponds”, they don’t seem to be all that environmentally friendly, it does make another April Squaw trip kind of attractive.
