Saturday morning Pow?

I'm cheating. Plan to stay in Wilkes-Barre Friday night after skiing at Platty. Meeting up with a friend from Philly to ski Montage before I head home to NC.

So who's waking up at the crack of dawn Saturday morning and heading out? (Raises hand)
Hoping there is enough late afternoon/evening snow in VT tomorrow to make for some powder turns Saturday am. I’ll be in line for first chair at Sugarbush.

Hate to be a Debby Downer, but, if that late week dump in Vermont a few weeks ago was any indication, there won't be much uncut powder to speak of Saturday. Killington was as busy I've seen it in years that Friday. Could barely find a seat in the Bear lodge at 11am. The weekend people drove up in the storm the night before, or maybe the day before, but, they were everywhere and the entire place was powder bumps by 10:30. And this is a holiday week, and this is a holiday weekend, of sorts. Good luck.

Good news is that it's softening a base of ice.

There's a fuckton of traffic on 87 tonight I'll tell you that.

Driving up to MA Friday night to hit either Berkshire East or Magic on Sat depending on which gets better snow.

I just drove from E8 to E11 on the NW to bank back home and it was absurd. Great migration stuff. Love it. Go North, young man.
