I don't know where SBR's Hinterland posts went and I am too lazy to spend much time searching online but here are some pics from our 4th annual work day at Limberlost Forest Preserve just outside of Algonquin Park in Ontario. Those of you might recognize SBR and Tele Dave in these pics, (known respectively as the "Garden Gnome" and "Pretty Boy" in these parts ;) ). We managed to have food, including free beer and pizza for our workers, all 21 of them (23 if you count dogs). We cut three new glades and no lift skiers were hurt in the process. Check out some of the beeg trees out there. This is the second year for our new organization and we are looking forward this winter to actually holding on snow events. Thanks to Limberlost for letting us do this, Family Place restaurant for the 'Za and AO for lending us the tent.

Very nice. How do the dogs hold onto their loppers?

Well, Moira didn't get to go but here is her technique:

Thanks LeChef for that update on Hinterlandian activity. I've been waiting for some snow to start the winter thread but that seems a long ways off. The Ewok Forest is an awesome glade, you New Yorkers would love it.

Sadie, a Rez mutt cattle dog pit terrier mix I used to have would try to shake 80 foot tall ponderosas like that to knock the squirrels out. It never worked but it sure was funny to watch.

Pretty much the the same for this rez dawg, possible mix of husky, German shepard, cattle dog, who knows what. But she does love the squirrel trees.
