This -22F is from the bottom of the Stratton access road on Saturday morning, 1-15-2022.

Face4Me's pic on Jan 15 seems to be the winner at -23F unless one of us was at the top of Mount Washington.

This was my Saturday morning screen grab at 7 am. 10 minutes earlier it was -23. Luckily, no wind.

And actually there was a bit of an inversion that day and Mt Washington was +1, one of the warmest spots in the state, oddly enough.

This - big inversion at Stratton - it was -7 in the parking lot and +7 a the top plus no wind. It was warm when we got up there

There is a good reason I explored skiing in the northeast during early or late season, not in Jan-Feb. ?

She’s got 2 dog beds, a handmade wool rug, comforter and a sleeping bag all stacked she lays on.

Haha. Full disclosure: I spent Saturday thawing pipes at a rental property, sitting by my woodstove, a brief xc ski with the dogs, more woodstove time with football and beer.
