I have never left my dog in the car while I’ve gone skiing before. However, Friday looks like a day where I may need to give that a try. I do see lots of people in parking lots with dogs in their trucks or SUVs. Do I have to worry about some crazy person breaking my window or calling the police on me if I leave my dog in the car at Gore on Friday when it’s going to be in the upper 30s and approaching 40°? I did check with my Vet and she said it would be fine to leave my dog in the car snuggled up in blankets. I will come out at lunchtime to walk her etc.

Why not just leave her in day care at home? There's a million options for daily dog care between Albany and Gore. Bringing your dog to leave her in your car most of the day should be the last resort, and honestly not an option at all.

She doesn’t like socializing with other dogs. She would not pass the daycare behavioral test. We would be stopping at Gore before heading to a hotel At Whiteface.

As long as you aren’t skiing in the summer I don’t think police or people busting your dog out will be a problem.

How barky is she? Will she be jumping up and down making a ruckus every time somebody walks past the car?
