The base building for the Kanc 8 at Loon is huge! I've seen the storage shed for Ramcharger 8 at Big Sky but it's tucked away at the top of the lift.
What's clear in this recent video is that Kanc 8 is just as important for the summer season as it is for the winter season. Apparently going to make a big difference for lift-served mountain biking. Was interesting to hear that making it possible for a biker to load their own bike is a big deal. That's the way Massanutten has been set up for a while.

Boyne Mountain 8 Person High Speed Lift
Another first for Boyne in the Mid-west. They we install an 8 person high speed detachable lift replacing the two very slow lifts in the Disciples area. This area has some nice tree lined decent length (by Michigan standards) but the very slow lifts made this not a very enjoyable area to ski...
