Don't expect anyone to rush out and order a pair of Elan Voyager skis, but curious to see what you think. These are Elan "all-mountain" skis designed for people who live in small apartments/houses in Europe and ski the long groomers in the Alps. Or someone who flies to Japan for business trips often during the winter and would like to have skis with them just I case it's to worth renting powder skis.

I was looking at these skis a couple years ago. They make a touring model called the Ibex Tactix. I was interested in taking them on Amtrak and bikepacking tours. Too narrow, too short and too heavy. Oh, wait there’s more! They are also expensive. Cool idea though. Now you can share the fiddle factor on tours with your splitboarder friends.

Ah, someone was saying they thought the foldable skis had been around for a while. Seems clear Elan is targeting a completely different market for the Voyager. General design seems about the same. Different bindings of course.
