For an additional price a building right is offered too, allegedly.

A building right is also being offered for an additional price to allow for 10 units. Subdivide the acreage and build your own dream home!
 
Never made it to one of the full moon parties but I’ve heard lots of stories. I hope it stays open to the public in some way. Last time I was there was for a pop-up supper with Cookee Boy cooking local with wood on the fire inside. Awesome.

Cascade: A neat little ski center that abuts Mt van Ho. The two trail systems connect off van Ho's Three Trails loop. Cascade is old school, Harv, you'd like it. Too narrow to skate on. Nice trails.

Did the Ho eat their lunch? Probably not; I think they attracted different crowds.

One time in the 90's the first winter that Dr Martin Luther King Jr's birthday was observed. Saint Lawrence cancelled their NCAA xc ski races because it was like 200 degrees below zero. Van Ho's water pipes froze. The wife and I had to ski to Cascade to beg for water.
 
Looks like ADK may be buying it.

Seeking to expand, ADK eyes Cascade Ski Center

ADK (Adirondack Mountain Club) is considering purchasing the Cascade Ski Center outside of Lake Placid, while at the same time has listed its Lake George property for sale.
