Gore Mountain Conditions

Barton Mines expansion was approved, which is a huge relief to the region. Does this bode well for the approval of the recreation easement?

I thought it was pretty decent. And I didn't get on the snow until the afternoon.

It was perfect for me. Love me a little Tahawas when I haven't skied in six months!

Shout OUT to Gore Mountain.

The recreation easement was already a done deal between Barton's and the DEC/Town of Johnsburg, it was not contingent upon the expansion approval.

Pretty cool for first chair they're running the quad at a reasonable speed because there's nobody downloading yet. I like it.

The resolution to buy the cabins was approved in February.
The resolution to buy the hangers was approved in April.
Are the new hangers visible somewhere on site or does anyone know their ETA?
They are on the way. The cabins will be ready to go for the start of the season.
Hangers look be staged for hooking up to the rope.

All we need now is some more cold. ❄️
Awaiting patiently.

I figured it was part of an early season disinformation campaign to tamp the crowds down. I know how these guys think.
